Mink Leader Mentoring in Non-Traditional Careers for Women

Thursday, October 22 | 1:00 - 2:00 PM

Non-traditional careers for women are considered those in which 25% or less of people employed in the field are women (Nontraditional Occupations for Women. U.S. Department of Labor, Women's Bureau). It is hard to believe that, in the 21st century, the Department of Labor lists over 100 occupations that fall into this category, many of which are in the construction trades and STEM fields. Non-traditional occupations offer a woman higher entry-level wages and higher pay as she advances in her career.

Join the Mink Leaders from the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business & Leadership for a mentoring session as they share their career path experiences, hindsight’s and future aspirations while guiding you through an intentional conversation on non-traditional career path opportunities.
