Why Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Matters in Hawai‘i

A Talk by Sari De, Anita Hofschneider, Kuʻulani Keohokalole and Sage Keʻalohilani Quiamno Nine of Us, Civil Beat, People Strategies Hawaiʻi & Amazon Prime Video & Studios

All sessions will be recorded and available for replay on November 1, 2022. Please note, no sessions will have a livestream available.

Despite its diversity of people, cultures, and backgrounds, Hawai'i still has a gap in leading and innovating in the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) space. Our panel of local and global DEI leaders will share valuable lessons from their work, how some organizations are prioritizing, centering, and embedding DEI into their business, and how we all can activate both our leaders' and our own accountability in creating an equitable workplace for all employees.

Speakers:

  • Sage Ke'alohilani Quiamno, Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Tech Leader at Amazon Prime Video & Studios
  • Sari De, Founder, Nine of Us
  • Kuʻulani Keohokalole, Owner & Principal Consultant, People Strategies Hawaiʻi
  • Moderator: Anita Hofschneider, Reporter, Civil Beat
