Brita Aramaki

About this speaker
Brita Aramaki was born in Honolulu, but grew up in California, South Carolina and Texas. She got her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin and Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth.
In 2007, Brita moved back to Oahu to attend medical school at JABSOM and has been here since, subsequently completing internal medicine residency and geriatric medicine fellowship at UH. She joined Queen’s in 2015 as a geriatrician and assumed the role of Medical Director of Geriatric Services in 2021.
Brita is married with two young kids. In her spare time, Brita enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing creative activities with her children, binge watching TV shows, trying new cuisines, and traveling.
