About this speaker
Catherine Toth Fox is the editor of HAWAIʻI Magazine, a Honolulu-based travel platform. She has more than 20 years of experience as a writer and editor, 10 of those years spent as a reporter at the former Honolulu Advertiser. No stranger to career changes, Catherine has also taught college-level journalism for over 15 years, worked in a flower shop, at summer funs, in catering, in marketing, in retail and even at a telephone answering service, when that was a "thing." She’s also a mom of an almost 8-year-old and took care of her mom for two years until she died.
